    This was the best of the Candlelight series. The sound and acoustics of the location were well suited for the string instruments. There was not a bad seat in the chapel and the candlelight added to the ambience, enhancing the musical experience

    The lights were only fully turned off about 2/3 into the performance. It would have been a more enchanting experience if this was done earlier. I also wished that the performance could have been longer!

    Even though lightsticks were allowed in the last song, would prefer there to be a total ban on lightsticks, it was so bright and distracting. And the person infront kept using her phone to message, it was also really bright and it spoiled my experience :(( Would be good if the host could ask audiences to not use their phone during the concert as it affects the people around them.

    My 9 year old son had to go to the bathroom and the lady at the door let him go out but held him outside alone for 10min. He was scared.

    The performance and the ambiance was great . The cans lights really made the atmosphere look special and perfect for Halloween. The one star I have deducted is for the organisers. It was a bit messy and lack of communication between the hells museum staff and the candle light even staff. This resulted in us traveling up and down the area multiple times to get our hells museum entrance ticket .

    It was an amazing show 👏🏻👏🏻 I enjoyed every moment of it and having the rays behind dancing was amazing. It seems like this song was an encore surprise initiated by Lester? Just want to say a big thank you to him and the rest of the VSQ team. It really was such an amazing way to end the night, and this moving piece was played to perfection. Practically holding back my tears! ❤️ Keep up the great work 🎻

    Interesting programme. Loved the modulations and transitions between pieces. Pianist was very skillful and expressed the music convincingly. Loved the Liszt and Chopin.

    Overall was a really great concert. Went for the Best of BTS themed one. Understand that it was an event for a pop group, thus the performers allowed singing and clapping along, but I felt it was distracting and could have been done without. Would have rather been able to enjoy purely the performers’ music and the calm candlelight ambience.

    Contrary to my first candlelight concert experience, this was utterly disorganized. Attendees were crowded at the venue’s entrance with no designated queues or directions. This initial disorder aside, everything else was enjoyable.

    Lovely set up with the candlelights and aquarium behind. Seating can be improved as the railings obstruct people’s views and seating isn’t very comfortable. Also, allowing couples to propose during the orchestra really ruins the experience for others. Please stop allowing such gestures during an hour-short orchestra people paid for as it makes others feel uncomfortable and annoyed.

    Had a poor experience with ushers. They could not seat me and were clueless on the dones. Had to wait on the sides while they sorted out. This is very unprofessional and please train your ushers better for a better experience.

    It's not 5 star because the person sitting next to me was wearing slippers, shorts and singlet. While I think that keeping it casual is good, this is too much. There need to be a minimum dress code. Otherwise in future someone will come in a bikini!

    The audio experience was really good..Seat allocations were a bit weird as we were brought to our seats and then later asked to move instead of asking the people that came later to occupy the empty seats beside us.

    Candles everywhere made the place look amazing! The candles on the aisle kept falling over though as people were getting in and out of their seats. Perhaps blue tack to keep them secure?

    Beautiful place. we only managed to sit on the 2nd row , so the view to see the string quartet is kinda blocked. Make sure you get early to get the best seat for your zone (we were already v early but got distracted by the fished as we make our way to the concert spot . Best thing about this is before and after the concert, we get to see all the wonderful displays of fishes at Sea Aquarium after hours aka no crowds.

    The time of the event was unclear so we missed the first part of the performance. When the tickets were purchased the start time was listed as 9:30 pm. The start time was still listed as 9:30 when clicking on the event for more details, but the time was supposed to be 9:00 pm.

    Love the experience! the warm and soft candlelight ambience sets the calming and relax mood to enjoy the music. it really help that organiser forbid photo and video till only last song! all good in a dark and quiet surrounding to enjoy the music well. highly recommended 🙂

    beautiful place. my jaw dropped when i walked in. it’s was a relatively big venue yet it still felt intimate and cozy. the lights were so beautiful. it didn’t feel like real life.

    The pianist, Adriana, was amazing and a true performer. She wanted to engage with the audience, bring happiness, and wanted the audience to truly enjoy the concert. The set up with all the candles was also an experience in itself. Definitely 5-stars! I'd give 7 stars if I could.

    We enjoyed the experience. It felt different from the other concerts that I've attended, the ambience was special and the music was v soothing. The only thing is duration is too short and it would be nicer if there is an encore. All in all, it was an interesting concert experience.

If I test covid positice positive within the next few days, I kinda am able to narrow down to which event I got it from The concert was great. Sound, ambience and visuals; all spectacular. It was just the safe distancing issue within audience's. Many were singing along (though with masks on). Please review this issue with the other candlelight events.

    The program is beautifully curated and the song list if on point! VOX did a wonderful job with the song arrangements and performance overall! Personally, my breath was taken away by the second song ‘under pressure’, which was one of my fav of the night. ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ just took it over the top!! Highly recommend this!!

    The venue is beautiful! Disappointed in the music presentation. Inbalance sound - the sound of the erhu was too loud, it drowned out at times the sound of the guzhen. Plus, the erhu player needs improvement, did not seem to be able to capture the soulful sound of the erhu. The guzhen player was fantastic, unfortunately this time, the sound of the guzhen was overpowered the too loud sound of the erhu. Thank you.

    This is the second concert we went to. We have loved both venues. They were both historical Singapore. The music was excellent and just the right amount for a week day night. I highly recommend them.

    Programme and ambience were 100%. However, the performing team can be stronger. There were quite a number of out of tune moments and even my friend with no musical background caught it.

    gabriel ho (i think that’s his name) was amazing and the way he interacted with the audience was so great. he’s such a talented individual and i’m honored to have been able to watch him live. the venue is absolutely stunning. the moment i walked in, my jaw dropped. it looked like something out of the Tangled movie. overall, the experience was so relaxing and cozy. loved it so much.

    Beautiful. Only negative experience was this lady who ushered us to our seats. She was very rude and kept disturbing the guests by talking loudly and made unnecessary comments throughout the show. It came to a point where i had to hush her for her to stop talking. I think the management need to educate their employees.

    the performers were okay as professional performers.. but as a lifelong fan of studio ghibli, i felt they lacked the 'feel' for the varying emotions of the songs.. most songs felt quite flat emotionally.. i think this was similarly felt by other attendees (my partner as well as another attendee whom i overheard). hence i think its 4-stars.. good but just lacking the 'oomph' ghibli feel.

    Hi. As much as I wanted to give nice words to the event attended however it’s really difficult to squeeze out good words for it. Perhaps I have too high of any expectations after attending the quartet candlelight event. I would strongly recommend the orchestra to be more in sync as the tempo is just not in sync from each of the sections. Like the part that the song ‘departures’ is included. Other than that, I would only say this event is a slight below average of what I would pay to attend.

    Pianist was too exaggerated in her movements, made it cringey to watch. Also since its a candlelight concert, would have preferred a smooth, low tone voice when she's speaking rather than giggly and over-chirpy. And asking if there are any Adele fans when it was a Best of Adele session? Very very strange. Venue and candles were nice. Music was nice if the pianist's foot stomping was ignored

    It was an awesome concert. Didn't really memories the program list so every song played was a surprise. Maybe one sad point was that the performances wasn't wearing traditional costume as shown in the ticketing pic so maybe can be improved

    The pianist played a important role in the play. As the songs is all slow type, the program should set that is the chorus part not the whole song, it became boring. Not much interaction also.
