    Beautiful historic venue - excellent concert - staff all lovely. Superb evening. Only thing that I could recommend is they recommend parking as the NCP was a complete rip off.

    A Tribute to Queen

    The string quartet were amazing - incredible to create the music of Queen with strings! However, it was almost impossible to see the musicians, as they are on the same floor level as the audience. How about a platform for them please? Also the 6pm concert didn’t give the same ambience of the last evening candlelit concert we went to as obviously it is still broad daylight. We won’t book that time again in the spring & summer. Thank you tho, a great performance !

    Absolutely stunning! Staff were so kind, the experience was magical. I love how it was made multi sensory I work as a SEND teacher and it ticked all the boxes. The pianist was fantastic no faults at all. We will 1000% be booking another event with Fever.

    Due to traffic and personal issues we got to the venue at 18:10 hrs. The gates were closed as the concert had already started. Initially the security officers would not allow us in .After pleading with them for a further 5 mins (Matt glossop is playing at our wedding in may ) they relented and went to ask the venue staff. I had paid for front row seats but had to sit at the back .

    My husband and I go to a lot of classical concerts. The Common Room was absolutely stunning. We would definitely go back again , but we could have enjoyed even more if it lasted longer than the time stated. Thank you for our beautiful evening.

    The only thing I think would add to the experience is if there was the ability to purchase a recorded copy of the performance in full. The string fusion performers were outstanding especially the lead violinist Boris and the gentlemen who played viola his compere skills were very much appreciated and he he has a lovely smile

    Amazing performance. Enjoyed the musicians speaking as well. 6.30pm performance was still light for candlelight so may have preferred darker but did not detract from performance. Acoustics good.

    It was our first time to Birmingham Cathedral & really pleased we came. The Coldplay songs you played were beautiful, really celebrating how richly talented their music is & showing what a wonderful pianist you are (although I was hoping you'd play my favourites; Atlas & Strawberry Swing- but appreciate that there are only so many you can do in an hour!). The setting was gorgeous with all the many candles adding to the ambience.

    The music sounded excellent and was in a beautiful surrounding. The quartet explained everything as they went along. it was truly beautiful to listen too. Wish I could have seen them play to. Might as well have been listening remotely !

    We were moved from our seats to poor seats even though we paid for A class just because there were more people who arrived We were sold an orchestra and the performers were a quartet who seemed to be college students We would have enjoyed the performance as it was but felt it had been mis sold

    As I said before, the staff and the musicians great....on the other hand, maybe not enough candles and impossible to see anything of the concert, this cathedral is stunning but maybe not the best venue for this...or maybe instead of 4 areas you should just sell tickets for 1.

    It was magnificent skill and well executed compositions , it was wonderful to see the whole church singing along to some of fleetwood macs best and the light was so uplifting through the stain glass window the atmospheric energy of the recital bridged one the best of British bands with out of this world instrumentals . Thank you for a wonderful performance .

    The concert and musicians were amazing, I really loved it! The venue really added to the atmosphere too. The only issue was leaving could be a little tricky at 9pm when it finished as some of the pathways to the main road were closed and some direction would have been appreciated. But it was not enough to detract from the experience as a whole!

    Musicians and the songs were amazing! I really enjoyed the performance! However, i would've liked to have a short break. Number of people stood up in the middle of performance to run to the bathroom. Also, there was too much light coming from the bar that was not in use during the performance. Cosier atmosphere could've been created if the bar lights were dimmed. Good experience overall.

    We really enjoyed the experience, it exceeded our expectations. One point,, more comfortable chairs would be nice. We came at 17.45 and left at 20.00, so 2 hrs and 15 min on these chairs is a LONG time...,,,,, Thank you again for making my husbands birthday extra special...

    The music was amazing but the chandelier light above me kept flickering off and on and it was really off putting. It would also have been good if the piano and lights were raised off the ground so people at the back had better visibility.

However people constantly using the toilet and the automatic light flicking on and spoilt it slightly as we had paid for A seating and ended up next to the toilet. Great performance though would do again at a different venue

    Loved the classical takes of Taylor’s very modern pop music - it translated very beautifully. I personally wouldn’t have ended with “Shake It Off” as the final song, it felt more like a crowd warmer up’er rather than the piece-de-resistance concert closer.

    Medium experience: I think you can’t call it ‚candlelight experience‘ The artificial ‚candles‘ were not really visible as they were just placed on the floor (we had section B / an idea could be that candles are placed on tables to that ALL guests can see them, not only the front row.) Besides, acoustic was not loud enough in the room. There was a constant opening of doors as guests arrived late or went out during the concert. So, all in all, unfortunately not a good experience :(

    Some of my favorite pieces: Dune, Interstellar, The Crown, Pacific and Pirate of Caribbean. It is not an easy job to interpret Hans Zimmer's works in a quartet but Arva did an amazing job putting all those pieces together. I do feel like the arrangement of the Lion King's Medley could be better but still, it was a very wonderful performance. Kudos to the Arva Quartet.

    Music was fantastic. Organisation of the event was poor! Statements like “late entry is not permitted” are factually incorrect and not adhered too. People were continuously omitted throughout the performance, causing disruption and annoying the audience that actually abided by the rules! The omitted latecomers then missed the brief at the beginning, so decided to take photos with flashes and video throughout performance, disrupting and spoiling the experience even more…

    Lovely experience from the second we arrived to the building. A friendly staff member welcomed us in. After that we were shown to our sits. The concert was elegant and beautiful, and yet funny. Time flew, when we were told it was the last song I had to check my watch because I could not believe it was over already! A great experience, I would recommend it to anybody who loves music and string quartets :)

    Music and setting was beautiful but was sadly ruined by how close the chairs were positioned to each other! You were basically sat on each other’s knees with your arms held forward in an attempt not to be skin on skin with the person sat next to you. It was a warm day and the seating was so uncomfortable we actually left part way through the show. The bars weren’t great either. It’s a shame as it could have been beautiful.

    Candles were fake. I'm afraid that makes a big difference for me. For the general feel on the event as well as the environmental impacts of plastic fake candle and their batteries. Would have prefered a third of the candles if they were authentic wax candles. Outside the gimmicky candles, I've been to much better versions of the same thing.

    Movie Soundtracks Under a Plane

    We had a great time tonight. Firstly the plane itself was superb having not seen it since 10.5.1987 when one flew over Stockport and I saw it from the window of my Maternity room when I was in labour with my first daughter. Then String quartet playing some great movie tunes brilliant - loved the whole evening

    The Best of Hans Zimmer

    The music was absolutely 5 star! The intimate and historic setting also added to the experience. You could actually feel the vibrations of the instruments. We loved it and would definitely recommend. The volunteers were also very helpful. One small negative for us was there was a poor selection of non alcoholic soft drinks or a hot drink available. An easy fix.

    Music was good but the visuals were different from how it was portrayed. We thought it was going to be open air which is one of the main reasons why we booked this specific event but it ended up being indoors due to the hosts worrying that it might rain. It was also very light in the room, therefore the candles had absolutely no effect and did not add anything to the experience. The musicians were fantastic, however sadly I would not attend one of these events again.

    The two rude women behind us who talked constantly and screamed at the end of each song as they clearly knew someone in the quartet. Annoying when I paid £150 for the tickets. Perhaps the quartet need to remind their friends about concert etiquette! A great concept and talented musicians. A fabulous venue.

    The venue and the performance were fantastic. However unless you were sat in the front row you couldn’t see any of the candles. I spent £72 for 2 tickets in zone B and I may as well have paid for some D tickets for what I could see. I think you could have made more of the backdrop

    Quarter was beautiful. Frontwoman was phenomenal. I keep thinking it was all a dream but it was real! I only wish the seating plan was as advertised. Instead there were so many rows and I couldn't see a thing.

    Would have been 5stars if it wasn’t slightly spoiled by the incessant and extremely loud background noise from one of the places outside. Also the bar should have been closed before the performers took the stage to stop people taking their seats when the performance had started. Otherwise excellent renditions of all the the individual pieces of music.

    Music and atmosphere was great as always. However the seating at Llandaff was the worst seating I've had for one of these events. The seats were incredibly cramped, touching thighs with strangers, and if you aren't in the front row you can't see any of the performance because it's so tight knit. Such a shame but otherwise lovely as always.
