Tribute to Bollywood and Indian cinematic heritage
The Challenge
Yas Bay Waterfront, one of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic leisure destinations, sought to create a culturally immersive experience to celebrate Diwali – the Festival of Lights. The goal was to engage the public with a free, high-impact event that honored Indian musical heritage while activating the waterfront as a destination for vibrant cultural celebrations.
The Solution: Candlelight Concert Experience
Fever produced a large-scale Candlelight celebration for Diwali at Yas Bay Waterfront, transforming the steps of Arena Plaza into a glowing cultural stage. With 1,200 guests attending two open-access sessions, the event brought together locals and visitors in a vibrant tribute to Indian heritage.
The program featured a mix of live Sarangi performances by Nabeel Khan’s Bollywood Ensemble and Bollywood dance routines by choreographer Sarah Pinto’s troupe. This blend of classical and cinematic elements created a multisensory experience that honored tradition while energizing the audience.
A full candlelight installation, visual storytelling, and precise staging across the venue immersed guests in the spirit of Diwali. Each moment was carefully designed to celebrate cultural authenticity while reinforcing Yas Bay’s role as a destination for world-class entertainment and community engagement.
